Volunteer Trustees

We are looking to strengthen our board of trustees to help them set the strategic direction of the charity and to monitor the performance of the management team in achieving the set objectives. The trustees meet at bi monthly board meetings and help develop the charities services through other adhoc help and guidance in between meetings.  

 

No formal training or qualifications are necessary but we are looking for committed individuals who have an interest in improving the lives of our beneficiaries and are willing to act as trustees. We would particularly welcome new trustees with skills, experience or an interest in:

Fundraising

Legal matters,

Marketing,

Human Resources,

Health & Safety

IT,

Finance

Support Workers - £8.72ph

We are looking for relief support workers to help us support our daytime and domiciliary services for adults and our evening and holiday clubs for children and young people across Ipswich

As a support worker you must be patient and versatile and be prepared to participate in all activities chosen by our customers. When necessary you will also be required to provide dignified, personal care and to support our customers using wheelchairs. Full training will be provided to assist staff to carry out the role efficiently and effectively. A copy of job description is here
